The soul builds its power alternating between the poles of strength and mercy. Through deep feeling it sifts through the content of its own depths to generate its vision for self realization. By this self-actualizing power it eventually merges with the Divine becoming One with all the Universe. In doing so it releases all of its stored power, manifesting all of its inner nature. The inner power of a seed contains the whole of an ancient tree with roots buried deep in the Earth and its branches extending far out into the Sky.
This potential within us, within our soul, when actualized, when drawn out and meshed together through the masterful alchemy of yogic circle-seeking activity, perfects our will and our being so that we succeed in our life's path: our destiny. This inner power of latent soul-awareness contains all that we need to succeed. Misguided, seeking power elsewhere, we undoubtedly fail, time and again. The spring of Eternal Life flows within us, within all things, and presents itself to us when we learn how to look within.
Our spirit seeks the deepest Harmony with all existence, with Nature from its Heavenly heights, to its Earthly roots. The same nature flows within what we call Evil and what we call Good. To find the deepest Peace, the spiritual energies within our inner soul reservoirs must flow out completely, released from the prison of false dichotomies in the human mind. The soul needs to escape from both animalistic hedonism and divorced spiritual puritanism in a natural expression that brings both the Heavens and the Terranic together. The soul easily navigates this new Spiritualized Earth or Grounded Sky finding the same common nature among all things, a nature neither good nor evil, but soulful and true. Until the mind overcomes its search for Good and its exile of Evil, the soul shall remain in the bondage of that mind. A soul must go beyond a world of ideas to fully spread its wings and live.
The soul lives in a spiritual or spiritualized Universe. Not a Universe divorced from the horror of Darkness, but one that belongs to the horror and the beauty of both Light and Dark. It saddens me how far away this truth lies from our thoroughly lost and distracted society. Yes, we have discovered much, in both mind and feeling, while we actively experience little of this land beyond the dry crust of conceptual thinking and living. In many ways, as we move forward into more liberated thinking and more advanced technology we lose the activated potency of the subtle psychic and higher spiritual dimensions of existence. As we collectively merge in a single planetary society much of our attention shifts towards the material and material mindedness. While no general use of the soul in the recent past (last several thousand years) led to the widespread liberation of many people, it seems like today our society is much more spiritually and psychically dead. The feelings informing these generalizations are so difficult to pin down and accurately describe that I hesitate to write anything about them. It seems that generally our range of experience now only includes a deadened flatland of the conceptual mind. Whereas in the past we knew less, and less about what we knew. we perhaps felt more, or felt more fully because our minds had not yet suffocated our spirit with so many dead ideas.
Today in many ways we feel much more and much more deeply than past generations, but might find ourselves crippled (and our society) by the psychic weight of a common reality divorced from both body and soul, entombed in the gray and endless shithole thinking of the conceptual mind.
Our personality dies in this miasma of anxiety and speculation. Yet it surrounds us, as does rampant materialism. In our minds, our feelings, our homes, our neighborhoods, our relationships, our society, and our civilization this psychic weight oppresses us. I realize now, much of this deadened tissue comes from upward paralysis: the inability of our species to grow up and shed the conventions of the last age. So much creativity remains stifled. The thought we need to rebuild sits grounded by the active powers of that which no longer serves us. Interestingly if we call this general growth of human civilization a biological occurrence, we currently exist in a typical state of decay quite common to a natural cycle of life. Decay follows activity and regeneration or metamorphosis follows decay or paralysis/dormancy. In this frame, we now experience a beautiful stage of decay between two different points of activity. The exhaustion of one and the simultaneous blossoming of the dormant potential of another. From the outside it looks hideous, from within, marvelous.
The psychic death our civilization currently experiences opens many doors to new vistas, though largely leaves the conceptual mind in tact for most of society. It revitalizes this and grounds it as our society begins to blossom again. I hear the soul calling us to move even further ahead over the course of the next thousand years as more and more minds reach the gate of death between two worlds. Yet, part of this great death now involves a minority evolving past this lonely door, out of the realm of man, into the realm of Spirit. We listen at the gate and today set stones for the foundations of cities of the future.
Our Crystal Tribes evolving outside of the general trend of our civilization in pockets of Divine Sunlight that knit together the deeps wounds of our collective psyche.
