It is very very easy to lose sight of what's good. And become a Debbie downer. I often forget the invaluability of a wholesome positive outlook. We have got to go with God, and it is very very simple. When we fight this simple way, we stab ourselves in the back. We can't get ahead by going around it. We have to accept it, because it works. It is also good. It's hard to see it because our minds are so busy and full of so much trash. It is necessary to simplify our minds, and reciprocally, our lives to bring the peace of simple faith back into the center. This means not giving into fear and doubt, yet allowing room for fear and doubt, trusting that the good will prevail. This becomes more difficult as things outwardly look more and more like dog doo doo. But, this is the whole point of the practice and of faith. It's not how things appear, but how things are within you. I think if we break this covenant with ourselves and the universe, we're pretty much screwed. Not like disaster screwed, but like things won't work out well in general for us. We won't be soul-centered.
We cultivate this through our relationship with Amen. We look to it, and it reflects what is on our mind. It amplifies it. When we look to it with peace and revelation, it will show us amplified peace and revelation. It is the door maker and way maker.
The deepest desire of our soul is to merge with Amen, becoming it. This is what frees and fulfills it. Our soul is truly Amen trying to awaken, to remember its fullest self. Merging with Amen frees us from negative habits that produce ignorance and enslaving trouble.
Cultivating a simple positive outlook and faith in the inner goodness of things builds an inner inertia of positive energy. This is possible when we remain open despite outward circumstances. When we hold onto our integrity even though common sense may say to step down. With worldly eyes we act the fool, while our soul says otherwise. Its says there are deeper laws at play, deeper forces. It says having faith is the ultimate power to keep the evil at bay and to produce positive results. It says what is unseen with our physical senses is very real, in fact more real than the world of matter. It says this unseen realm dictates what happens on the material.
There is blind faith when you take someone else's word, and there is blind faith where you close your eyes to the world so you can see the world within. The eye of our inner world, the soul, follows the wisdom of the source of all things, follows its laws, which operate on the exacting law of karma. It knows that the superiority of Spirit is absolute and knows this is the way to emancipation from darkness. Thus it operates on the principle of self-sacrifice (sacrificing one's mortal will and psyche) through faith in the wisdom of the Infinite and it's ultimate supreme identity with it to make it's journey towards that ultimate goal.
When we compete to gain we always strain against the world and the universe. Through faith, the soul opens doors to infinite potential, infinite energy. It harmonizes all its energies with all the energies of the Kosmos to attain miraculous summoning power. It is truly unbelievable what it accomplishes, especially coming from a long history of ignorance and severely limited human potential.
With the soul, through faith, we tap into the power of God. Truly. With faith it is sustained because we are not using it for selfish purposes that have the power to destroy ourself, but through self-sacrifice for the release of Truth and establishment of Good in the Universe.
It is awesome and incredible when one begins to clearly see the capacity of the soul. The fierceness of its spiritual blaze and intent to manifest the truth and the good where it has been forgotten. Its purity also inspires. The potential of levity it can deliver, of release from the heaviness of this world is truly Angelic. We get so accustomed to unmitigated grief and muddled experience, the reality of something of Light and Purity mystifies us. Yet it is there, eternally there, within our experience, manifested more readily in astral dimensions and beyond where the Will of God and His Spirit are tangible parameters.
It is very difficult for most to break through to this inner Heaven, yet it does exist. And it is the power of faith also may make this so on our own planet.
