Greater than Gold

Weakness is strength, and strength weakness.

We seek something that will last. Yet no thing anywhere will last. Not one thing the mind clings to is permanent. Chasing ideas is like chasing water as it runs between your fingers and splashes on the bare earth. You can't pull any substance from them. Even health and enlightenment, wisdom, we cannot possess these things. They are gained through the death of that which possesses if at all. Are we drowning in an excess of external pressure, or an excess of inner restlessness? Is disease caused by the world, or by our own mind?

What we truly need, we already possess. What we cannot find is already in our hand.

What if what we are looking forward innately belongs to our very self-nature. What if we already possess the solution to our problems? What if they are already solved? What if the root of the problem is not in the world, but in our state of mind? In the way we are looking? What if we are already perfect? Flawless? What if we are already whole? What if things are exactly as they are supposed to be? What if nothing is out of place?

There's no where we can go, and nothing we can do to fundamentally improve the Universe as a whole. It is already perfectly One, perfectly expressed, perfectly complete.

A mentality that depends upon conflicting forces fails to see the reciprocity of opposites. An eternal balance exists between the dualistic expressions of nature. No opposing force exceeds its opposite in virtue. The greatest virtue lies in the balance between the two. With clear eyes the common nature of both opposing forces appears. What appeared as opposition now looks more like a dance. When one realizes this they can position themselves to allow this dance to unfold rather than wasting effort in the vain attempt to manipulate something natural.

Internally, balance can only be achieved when one positions themself in such a way in regard to the natural relationships between the opposing forces within themself. Not one is greater or lesser than the other. Our societies philosophies and our personal inclinations often keep us from this enlightened attitude.

Balance is not so much achieved as rediscovered. It is more relational than personal. It is how we relate to the Universe, to all things.

Apart of this enlightened attitude towards what is dualistic is change in the way we use energy and resources. Instead of building a great storehouse only for ourselves that we can consume at will. We instead refrain from collecting energy solely for ourselves and access energy through the relationships we have with the Universe. We acknowledge that the Universe is a place of constant energy exchange or flow and that we are apart or One with this flow. We open ourselves to this vast network of energetic exchanges as we participate in the diversity of life and our particular personal circumstance, using energy from the whole as it flows to and from us. This philosophy proposes that true security lies in Harmony with the greater Universe rather than being a result of outcompeting it or your surrounding neighbors.  It draws from the Infinite collective pool of Life instead of it's own personal reserves and places the importance and interest of this greater body above its own.

This perspective becomes valid as the individual themself begins to identify more with what is common between themself and the greater Universe than what is different between their self and the Universe. As this identity shifts so does the nature of that individual: from animal to human to Divine.

It is very easy to react out of fear and to cling to what we know or believe or instinctually feel is appropriate. This does not make it wise to do so. The longer and more difficult road, though the road that brings you back home, is one of deep introspection and study into the nature of things and of one's own being. Regardless of the difficulty, perseverance in the path is what brings results.  Perseverance through both inclement and favorable weather. That does not yield to time or space, yet continues until the goal has been met.

The Universe is balanced. It is One an Whole. We are a part of this whole. To such an extent that we are It. All the parts of ourself hold the integrity, the quality, of this Whole. To treat any such part as less than that means forgetting who we are and where we came from. Each part is an expression of the whole. It lives in balance with that whole. It lives in balance with the Universe.

Our very mind is the One. Our thoughts are the One. Our fear and pain and success and happiness are the One. Already One. Already Whole. No thing to do. No one to become. Remain with Thyself and Thou shalt have Peace.

Where we are, what is, is infinite. What we do, who we see is infinity. We cannot fail because we have found who we are. The Universe, this, is not finite. It is infinite. We don't see the connection between the good and the bad. We don't see that they are One, that everything is One. We live in a world of lack failing to see a world of infinite abundance. It is not merely infinite in quantity, it is infinite in quality in content. Everything is available right now. Everything is open right now. Everything is perfect, flawless right now. We don't believe it, simply because we don't see it. That doesn't mean it isn't there. Not only is it there, it is the only thing there. I am of this infinite nature. I am infinite. In every way, I am infinite.

This is my life. This is where I live. This is who I am.

I am One. I am all. I am free.

I am One. I am all. I am completely free.

I am One.

I am One.

I am One.

This Oneness is infinite. It is Infinity. I am Infinity.

My consciousness in infinite. I am infinite. This world is infinite. There is only infinity. This nature is my self-nature. There is no limit to what I can do. No limit to what I can achieve. I have infinite power. infinite knowledge, infinite potential.

My mind is infinite. My body is infinite. I am infinite. Everything we experience is infinity. It is all perfect, flawless, One. Infinity of all directions. Infinity of all kinds.

Infinity means complete openness. Complete freedom. Perfect Love. Perfect safety. Perfect everything.
